Security Forces Conduct Successful Intelligence-Based Operation in Balochistan, Two Terrorists Neutralized
QUETTA: Security operation against militants in Balochistan remained on. Security forces have, in an intelligence-based operation, successfully neutralised two terrorists in the Killi Zaiq area of the province, security sources said.
Officials said that the operation was initiated after some actionable intelligence was received about the presence of terrorists between Killi Zaiq and Kaghli, around 12kms north of the Baseema Camp. In the subsequent gun battle, two terrorists were killed on the spot and three others injured. Weapons and IED Materials RecoveredSecurity sources identified one of the slain terrorists as Mushtaq Ahmed, alias Koh Yar. Forces also recovered a substantial stockpile of weapons and equipment from the terrorists’ hideouts, such as ammunition, magazines, hand grenades, materials used in making improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
The police said security forces are also not ready to call off their operations till the full elimination of the Baloch terrorists and bringing lasting peace in the province of Balochistan.
