Emergency response units were rushed to the scene after it was reported and a search was initiated for the missing persons, according to rescue sources.
The body of one of the people could be retrieved from the sea by the rescue-men and the efforts to track and rescue the second body are underway. The situation has left local residents and tourists concerned. The incident has happened several times in the past along Hawksbay and other spots along the coast of Karachi where rough seas and strong undercurrents make for rapid multi-agency search operations.
