Supreme Court Lahore Registry Disposes of 305 Cases Across Four Days
LAHORE: In a dedicated four-day sitting, from August 10 to August 13, the Lahore Supreme Court successfully closed 305 pending cases under the chairmanship of Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar of the Supreme Court Lahore Registry.
The official court record shows 412 cases were settled to be heard over the course of this period. The regular bench disposed of 305 cases of which 268 petitions were withdrawn, 18 petitions were allowed along with 3 petitions disposed of after making preliminary arguments and settling.
In addition, new dates for hearings were set in 110 cases. The disposal of 305 cases in four days under the Lahore Registry’s banner is considered a brilliant judicial performance in order to remove the backlogs of pending cases and give prompt relief to litigants.
