International news reports stated that the military led by the Central Intelligence Organization (CIO) also inflicted 243 injuries on people who were occupying the Houthis’ positions. The document points out that all these civilian casualties were reported from three military operations carried out in April. On April 6, a strike near Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, took place and killed five civilians, the Pentagon report outlines. April 17: Attack in Ras Isa Port area, killing 80. April 28: Another strike that killed 68 people (according to the congressional disclosures), this time near Saada. Also, the Department of Defense reported that it has reviewed reports from non-governmental organizations and is still investigating an additional 15 separate operational incidents in Yemen that are ongoing and continue to be reviewed by U.S. CENTCOM.
