Separatist Narratives Will Never be able to weaken Pakistan: Sarfraz Bugti

Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti of Balochistan has made it clear that the attempts to weaken Pakistan with the help of separatist ideology and terrorism will not succeed.

Addressing a special interactive session with students participating in the Summer Internship Program 2026, the Chief Minister interacted with over 6,150 students who joined from 21 different stations across Pakistan. In the session, CM Bugti addressed several critical issues such as the situation of terrorism in Balochistan, hostile elements in the region (“Fitna al-Hindustan”), anti-state propaganda, situation in Afghanistan, social media dynamics and governance.

Bugti highlighted that anti-state narratives were being peddled by exploiting sensitive human rights issues, especially the issue of missing persons, by the terrorist elements and hostile proxy groups trying to sow unrest through violence. He pointed out that the Government of Balochistan and security forces are following a coordinated and comprehensive approach against terrorism.

The Chief Minister highlighted the need to deal with external and internal threats and ensure that the interim Afghan government fulfills its international obligations on the issue of anti-Pakistan elements operating from Afghan soil.

A popular narrative is not always a truthful narrative; standing with Pakistan is standing with the truth,” said the CM. He finally reiterated that the future of Balochistan is bound to be with Pakistan and the progress, prosperity and survival of Baloch people depends on a strong and united federation.
