In a tragedy, armed men invaded a house in Mohra Buhi Wala locality of Sadiqabad and indiscriminately fired, killing prominent figure Sardar Alamgir Kosh and two others, Dunya News reported.
The victims of the deadly attack are Sardar Alamgir Kosh, Nazim Kosh and security guard Mashooq, according to police authorities. Before the attackers were able to run away, all three died from their wounds on the scene.
Police also disclosed that Sardar Alamgir Kosh had also earlier helped and facilitated the government’s Katcha surrender policy. A history of a bounty of 5 million rupees had also been associated with his name in past cases, reports said.
When police got word of the shooting, they immediately rushed to the scene and the teams of police and rescue personnel picked up bodies for medico-legal proceedings. The District Police Officer (DPO) in turn is cognizant of the incident and has given immediate instructions about tracing and arresting the offenders who ran away.
