India Wants to Convert the Kashmiri Majority Into a Minority in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Stresses Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar; Reaffirms Pakistan’s Unwavering Diplomatic Commitment on Kashmir Black Day

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has strongly condemned India’s systematic demographic engineering in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), stating that New Delhi is actively attempting to transform the indigenous majority into a minority.

Addressing a high-profile Kashmir Black Day rally in Islamabad, Ishaq Dar emphasized that Pakistan observes this day annually to remind the global community of India’s illegal, unilateral, and oppressive actions in the valley. He highlighted that over 90,000 Kashmiris have been martyred over decades of occupation, legitimate Kashmiri leadership remains unjustly imprisoned behind bars, and basic religious freedoms—such as permission to offer Friday prayers—are frequently restricted by occupation forces.
