US Will Have to Pay the Price for Any Action Against Iran, Warns Mohsen Rezaee; Threatens That Internet Cables, Data Centers, and AI Infrastructure Will Be Targeted in Case of War
TEHRAN: Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaee has warned the United States of a “heavy price” if it acts against Iran.
Mohsen Rezaee issued a strong warning in a statement that in case of conflict, internet cables, data centers, and artificial intelligence facilities would be the first victims. Rezaee maintained that Iran has all resources it has to retaliate, and it did not use its full force in previous conflicts but if there is a peaceful negotiated settlement, then Tehran would do so.
A few points were highlighted in Mohsen Rezaee’s Warnings and Regional Assertions:
Criticism of US Leadership: Iran’s official slammed US President Donald Trump, saying that his administration had not yet created a clear plan to deescalate the conflict with Iran and that it had delayed Tehran’s attempts to de-escalate the situation, thereby freezing all on-going negotiations.
The geo-conditions in the Gulf are changing fast, and states in the region are increasingly rethinking and readjusting their ties with Iran, says Rezaee, because regional countries have come to the conclusion that the US military might not be able to effectively protect their bases in the region.
The direct attacks on the digital infrastructure, submarine internet cables, and AI computing centers highlight Tehran’s evolving threat strategy for potential high-tech and asymmetrical counterattacks should there be a broader escalation.
