KHAIRPUR : The CDRS Water Filtration & Supply Project has yet again set another milestone in community development by the successful completion and inauguration of a brand new water filtration and supply facility in Meerak Gambat, Khairpur District, Sindh.
This important public good project was made possible thanks to the funding and support of the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme.
The Meerak Gambat Water Project has a number of key highlights:
Meeting the challenges of Local Water Scarcity: The drinking water solution has been put in place to address the ongoing clean water access challenges facing the local population of Meerak Gambat, and to provide a reliable, safe supply of clean water to underserved families each day.
OGDCL CSR Initiative: As part of OGDCL’s continuous effort to serve the people, improve health and upgrade infrastructure in operational and adjacent districts in the Province of Sindh.
