OGDCL and NAVTTC Open Admissions for Fourth Batch of Free Technical Training Program; Fully Funded Initiative Offers Monthly Stipend and Free Accommodation

ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) have announced the launch of the fourth stream of their encouraged technical training programme for free.

The entire project is slated to be competitively and fully-funded, with the goal of giving youth from OGDCL’s operational areas the latest cutting-edge vocational and technical skills that are in demand.

The OGDCL training program is designed to be delivered using the following key highlights.
Selected candidates will get Rs. 10,000 as monthly stipend along with a comprehensive financial and material support. Accommodation in a free hostel, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and a travel allowance of 5,000.

Diverse Technical Courses: The program includes multiple technical trades like Industrial Electrician, Solar PV Technician, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting, Advanced Welding, Advanced CNC/Machinist training, Hospitality Expert (professional chef training) and Auto-Mechanic with E-Vehicle training.

Industrial visit, recreational tour, and soft skill training are also provided along with professional training, lab training, and industry certifications.

Eligibility and Application Deadline: The program is for youth who are permanent or temporary residents in OGDCL operational districts and regions and there is a high preference for female applicants. The interested candidates may apply through online/offline at the NAVTTC Centre of Excellence in Islamabad till October 7, 2026.
