Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi Announces Fundraising Campaign for October 4 Long March, Appeals for Financial Support
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has announced that the party is going to hold a special fund-raising drive to secure finances for its upcoming long march on 4 October.
The Chief Minister addressed party workers and supporters and appealed to the people of the country and the overseas citizens to give generously money to continue the protest movement.
The points that are important in the Chief Minister’s Appeal are:
Kick-off at Provincial Secretariat: Chief Minister Afridi asked the party workers and supporters to meet at the party’s provincial secretariat tomorrow at 4:00 PM to formally start the fund raising drive.
Afridi urged local citizens and overseas Pakistanis to contribute themselves actively and called to help the movement in a big way as much as it needed in terms of logistics.
Call for active participation: In addition to giving financial support, the Chief Minister called upon the party members in the country to come forward and join the long march physically and make all-out effort to achieve the party’s political goals, stating that the people should stand shoulder to shoulder for their political goals.
