Dry and Hot Weather Expected Across Most Parts of the Country in Next 24 Hours, Predicts Pakistan Meteorological Department
ISLAMABAD: No rainfall is likely in most areas of the country in coming 24 hours due to dry spell while hot weather is likely in plains, says Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
As per the meteorological warnings, upper and northern areas are likely to experience partly cloudy skies whereas isolated windstorms, gusty wind and rain with thunderstorms will occur at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Precipitation Spread: Upper and central parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir witnessed rainfall, whereas dry conditions prevailed in other parts of the country in the last 24 hours.
Maximum Rainfall Records: Islamabad received 67 mm of rainfall, Attock 55 mm, Rawalpindi 39 mm and Faisalabad 26 mm.
Temperature Extremes: The Met Office said the maximum temperature across the country in the last 24 hours was 43 degrees Celsius at Turbat.
