The diplomatic demarche comes after a big security incident on September 23, when eight drones were seen operating in Pakistan’s airspace by the Afghan Taliban regime.
Air Defense Response: Alert and highly responsive elements of the Pakistan Army’s air defence system and the Pakistan Air Force responded professionally to intercept and shoot down all eight drones.
Four drones were shot down in the areas around the Torkham border and four other drones were downed in the border mountainous area near Kohat, security sources confirmed.
