Instead of Giving Lectures on Terrorism, India Should Condemn State-Sponsored Attacks Against Pakistan, Declares Pakistani Diplomat Saima Saleem at UNGA
NEW YORK : Pakistani diplomat Saima Saleem has given a strong rebuttal in a sharp and decisive manner to India’s remarks on terrorism at the UN General Assembly, alleging that New Delhi lacks the moral right to give a lecture on terrorism and yet it is sheltering and supporting terrorist elements.
In exercising Pakistan’s right of reply at the UNGA, Saleem has unmasked New Delhi’s narratives with determination, focusing on tangible proof of hostile interference. She made it clear that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Majeed Brigade and Fitna al-Khwarij (TTP) are all terrorist groups that are being backed by covert operations, logistical support and funding by Indian intelligence agencies.
Emphasizing the enormous human and economic impacts of the situation
The Pakistani diplomat brought the world assembly to the realization of the mammoth cost Pakistan has incurred in combating terrorism in the world.
Human Sacrifice: Pakistan has seen more than 100,000 casualties and cost of over $150 billion in its battle against radical militancy on the front lines.
Highlighting high profile espionage cases like that of active Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav and spy operative Nikhil Gupta, Saleem provided concrete evidence of external subversion against Pakistan’s territorial sovereignty based on solid legal and diplomatic precedents.
Pakistan does not need lectures about the menace of terrorism from a country which breeds and nurtures terror fronts across its borders. India should, first of all, clarify itself on its own terror operations and mourn the casualties incurred on Pakistani soil, Saleem said.
