Another Cross-Border Infiltration Attempt Foiled in Chaman Sector, Several Afghan Taliban Fighters Eliminated
QUETTA : Security forces have stopped another cross-border infiltration and aggression attempt by Afghan elements in Chaman area in very high operational readiness, a security official has said.Security sources said the hostile elements started firing without any provocation and tried to cross the border barrier.
The Pak troops responded quickly, giving it a precise and overwhelming blow. Pakistan Army retaliated effectively and in full force in response to aggression, as confirmed by security sources.
Targeted Strikes: The hostile Afghan Taliban regime posts that were active supporters or gave shelter to infiltration were specifically targeted.
The security forces used quads and heavy mortars to neutralize any opposition, and this effort was completely effective in the end, completely destroying the infiltrators’ plans of action.
The result of the exchange was the elimination of some Afghan Taliban elements, who were disorganized and scattered in their retreat.Military forces reiterated the Government’s firm position, saying that the military is always ready to respond to any violation of the border with Afghanistan with a timely and crushing blow.
The latest clash is also a cross-border operation of similar magnitude, this time in the Gulistan area, where security forces, once again, repelled an infiltration and caused significant damage to infiltrating forces.
