Medical Examination of PTI Founder Successfully Completed at Adiala Jail by Special PIMS Medical Team
RAWALPINDI: A detailed medical check up of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder was successfully conducted at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi jails.
The special medical team, which was sent to Adiala Jail, has finished its visit to the jail and has left, jail sources said. The prestigious medical team was led by Dr. Arif Khan of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).

Health care experts were among the medical board members, including a senior ophthalmologist (eye specialist) and other medical professionals from PIMS. Medical diagnostic equipment was brought along by accompanying paramedical staff for the visit.
Sources in jail confirmed that the purpose of the visit of the medical team was to carry out a detailed eye examination and follow-up examination of the PTI founder’s eyes as well as a comprehensive general health check up. The assessments were done by the specialized team that entered the prison facility through Gate No. 5.
