During Friday’s media interaction, Raja Nasir Abbas confirmed that a comprehensive dialogue was held with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in the week, following a journalist’s request on the subject of the meeting, where Imran Khan discussed the legal and political affairs with the minister, as well as the preparations for the ongoing long march.
Opposition Leader in Parliament says ‘Meeting Was Not Unnatural’.
Highlighting the context of the meeting, the opposition leader said it was summoned by the Government. They met me by their own choice – I did not ask them. Mohsin Naqvi, for instance, did come to my house.
Highlighting that the meeting should not be interpreted as anything unusual, Abbas said that it was the Leader of the Opposition’s identity in the Senate which made the meeting natural, emphasizing that there was nothing untoward or mysterious about it as PTI’s main demands were clearly laid out and open to the public.
