According to reports by international media outlet Bloomberg, the total value of the prospective defense agreement is estimated at $24.3 billion. The U.S. State Department has formally notified the U.S. Congress regarding the proposed military transaction.
Historic Acquisition and Package Breakdown
If finalized, this agreement will mark the first time that Saudi Arabia acquires the world-renowned F-35 stealth aircraft. The comprehensive package includes 48 fighter jets, 49 engines, along with vital cryptographic systems, electronic warfare support, and complete training and logistics packages.
