Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Meets US Defense Manufacturer PowerUS Delegation to Discuss Defense Technology and Production Capacity
RAWALPINDI : At the United States high-level visit of the PowerUS, a delegation from defense manufacturing firm, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir held a meeting at the General Headquarters (GHQ) to discuss defense equipment procurement, joint production, and capability enhancement.
During the official visit of the American delegation to GHQ, its Chief was Robert Brett Velikovich, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The meetings focused on strategic issues of common concern and emerging global trends in advanced defense technology.
The focus will be on technological innovation and strategic cooperation.
Technology innovation and modern engineering are playing a significant role towards the enhancement of national security and defense preparedness, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir highlighted during the interaction. Both Parties felt there is a high degree of mutual interest in strengthening cooperation in the selected areas of defense and industrial fields.
