MDCAT 2026 to Be Held Nationwide on September 20

MDCAT 2026 Scheduled for September 20 Nationwide: Over 34,000 Students to Appear Across 8 Cities with Sukkur IBA Managing Sindh Centers

KARACHI : The official date of Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) to be held for admission to medical and dental colleges in Sindh is 20th September and the testing will be held under the control of Sukkur IBA University.

It is to be noted that over 34,000 students are going to take part in the competitive examination, Sukkur IBA University Vice Chancellor Professor Asif Ahmed Shaikh said. Examination centres have been established in five cities of the province of Sindh including Karachi and a total of nine examination centres have been established in eight major cities of the country, including Islamabad with a dedicated centre.

Testing Time and Anti-Cheating Measures:
The Vice Chancellor had announced that the MDCAT exam will have a time duration of three hours, and urged all candidates to get to the designated MDCAT centres early. Strict security measures will be in place and mobile phones or any digital electronic devices will NOT be allowed in Examination premises.

The Sukkur IBA Vice Chancellor assured candidates and parents that there will be no possibility of paper leakage in the exam and the administration’s resolve to ensure absolute transparency was reiterated.
