Three Terrorists, Including Commander Naqeeb, Killed in Precision Security Forces Operation in Mastung
QUETTA: Security forces have successfully targeted three terrorists, including one important militant commander of the terrorists, during an intelligence based operation in Mastung district of Balochistan.
Sweeping counter-terrorism operations against militant elements are ongoing in the province, security sources said. In Mastung, security forces have tracked and successfully engaged a vehicle suspected of transporting militants with a quadcopter and conducted precision strike that completely destroyed the vehicle.
Three of the terrorists were killed on the spot, and other terrorists were eliminated by the precision strike. The militants killed also include a high-profile target, terrorist commander Naqeeb, security officials confirmed.
The state’s commitment was restated, with security sources saying counter-terrorism operations would continue on full steam until total elimination of terrorism from the country.
