Flour Prices Surge Sharply Across Quetta as 20kg Bag Jumps by Rs400 Amid Unrelenting Fuel Inflation
QUETTA: Escalation of petroleum prices and also high speed diesel prices on daily basis has badly affected the backward and middle class people and directly resulted in an upsurge of food inflation in the local markets.

Market surveys show that flour prices have been significantly hiked in a span of seven days in the provincial capital, with retail prices rising by about Rs20 per kg. Local business owners and shop owners say the steep increases are significantly adding to the bottom line of their customers.
The adverse impact of uncontrolled inflation has now made a significant dent in the prices of kitchen essentials, vegetables and fruits in the seasonal market in the weekly markets of the subsidized Sasta bazaars.
