LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief and Provincial Lawmaker Waqas Mehmood Khan has officially tabled an adjournment motion in the Punjab Assembly (PAP), which has raised significant doubts about the public money spent on the province’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s recent London visit.
It is alleged that the national exchequer had to bear the cost of fuel consumption and other expenses during the trip for an official aircraft, of the sum of about Rs12.5 million, according to the text of the adjournment motion.
