PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Confirms Ongoing Contact with Mohsin Naqvi, Reiterates All Decisions Require Imran Khan’s Approval
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has assured that he meets with Federal Minister Mohsin Naqvi regularly, but has not disclosed how often.
In a casual interview with media personnel in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar pointed out that there is no political action or big decision made without explicit will and approval of the founding leader of the PTI, Mr Imran Khan.

In response to the potential of the negotiations, the PTI chairman also said that the party has always had a policy of dialogue and negotiation committee had been constituted in the past. But, he said, the government has not shown a seriousness of intent, and has sometimes interpreted the party’s willingness to hold talks as weakness.
Gohar said that “at present, there are no formal talks or backchannel negotiations with the government but legal proceedings will continue in the relevant forums, a political solution will need to be negotiated the government and us in a timely manner. He emphasized the need for any future talks to be taken seriously and seriously and he said that “we will think about it and let you know” is a tactic which must be avoided.

Answering a question on the Prime Minister’s Office’s correspondence, Barrister Gohar said that the party has received an official letter from the Prime Minister’s Office.
