Welfare of Azad Kashmir Citizens Remains a Top Priority for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, States Deputy PM Ishaq Dar
ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has instructed the concerned departments to take prompt and effective actions for swift implementation of development priorities in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had made the upliftment of the socioeconomic standards of the people of Azad Kashmir a key objective of his government, Dar said in the high-level review meeting focused on the developmental agenda of the region that took place in Islamabad.
Betterment of the Citizenry
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the results of the development efforts undertaken by government have to be translated into tangible and practical changes in the lives of citizens. He said the federal government and AJK administration are completely in sync when it comes to the social welfare, infrastructure development and regional development.
