Pakistan Strongly Condemns Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia, Expresses Solidary with Kingdom’s Leadership and People
ISLAMABAD: The attacks by the regrettable Houthi militia groups against Saudi Arabia has been strongly condemned by Pakistan which has shown its deep solidarity with the government and people of the brotherly Islamic kingdom.
At a weekly press briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Sajjad Haider Khan reiterated Pakistan’s firm support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s absolute sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, saying Islamabad will remain steadfast in its support for its Riyadh in facing any security threats.

The spokesperson clarified that the Makkah Agreement is a defensive pact aimed to achieve collective deterrence and protection, when responding to inquiries about defense cooperation. In addition, the foreign ministers of Pakistan and other Arab and Islamic countries have all refuted Israeli statements and proposals on forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, and reiterated their backing for an independent Palestinian state, Khan said.
