Balochistan Government Issues Notification for General Age Relaxation in Public Sector Jobs, Setting Limit to 43 Years
QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has announced an important policy change, as a result of which the age limit for recruitment in the Provincial Government jobs is getting liberalised.
The upper age limit is 43 years for General, Disabled and Legal heir of martyrs as per an official notification. In the interim, the maximum age for government employees who have served for two consecutive years in continuous public service has been increased to 50 years.
Policy Conditions and Duration
The provincial government spokesperson explained that the general relaxation is not to be used in the jobs where the maximum age limit has already been set lower than 43 years.
Additionally, it was confirmed that no other/extra age relaxations will be considered outside these given parameters. The new age concession notification will be in effect for three years after its issuance.
