11 Terrorists Killed, 2.9 Tons of Explosives Recovered During Intelligence-Based Operations in Balochistan’s Kharan and Washuk

RAWALPINDI : Security forces have successfully neutralized 11 militants and recovered huge quantity of explosives in intelligence based operations across Balochistan.

On September 6 and 7, security forces carried out precision operations in Kharan and Washuk districts, destroying 11 operatives connected with the Indian-backed proxy outfit called “Fitna-al-Hindostan,” according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), media wing of the military.

In Kharan district, terrorists tried to block public roads, causing traffic chaos. The threat was met with a swift response by security forces and their targeted action led to the on-the-spot killing of eight terrorists from across India.

WASHUK is the name for the operation of the Massive Explosives Recovery.
Part of a separate intelligence-based operation, security forces raided and destroyed a terrorist hideout in Washuk. After a heavy gun battle, a further three terrorists were eliminated.

During the clearance of the compound, 2.9 tons of explosive materials that would be used to make improvised explosive devices (IEDs) for sabotage were seized.

They were working on Clearance and Security Resolve.
The ISPR said work was underway to clean and clear the surrounding area to make sure the remaining threat is eliminated. The army chief vowed again for its steadfast resolve to keep fighting the terrorism until the foreign sponsored and backed terrorism is completely wiped off from the country.
