PCB Initiates Internal Inquiry into Alleged Discipline Violations During England Tour
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially started an in-house investigation into the issue of players discipline and behaviour during the current tour of England.
The PCB is in full review of a range of team discipline concerns that have been brought to its attention with the national team’s games in England, according to a statement from the PCB.In the official statement from the board, the focus was on the fact that the investigation is being handled in a “transparent manner” and rumors are being rejected according to the normal PCB regulations and procedures.
All stakeholders will have the opportunity to voice their opinions in a fair manner and decisions will be made on the basis of facts. The PCB’s spokesman responded to online rumors on social media and said they were unconfirmed, “baseless and without any proof.” Stakeholders, media and the public have been instructed to only trust the official communications and updates from the cricket board.
