Islamabad ATC Grants Post-Arrest Bail to Former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad and 95 Others in Protest Case
ISLAMABAD: Nineteety-six people, including former senator Mushtaq Ahmad, have been granted post-arrest bail by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in the city of Islamabad in a protest case.
The case was heard by ATC Judge Abual Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain who ordered the release of all 96 suspects on surety bonds of Rs5,500 each.

The accused were Shalimar police station registered and included former senator Mushtaq Ahmad and Razi Tahir.
The First Information Report (FIR) was filed under the provisions of the terror act, after a protest took place in sector F-10. The police said the protesters had been holding a protest without permission, obstructing the road and engaging in violence with officers.
