Government Decides to Export Imported Sugar, Trading Corporation of Pakistan Issues E-Tender
KARACHI: The federal government has made the official decision to export the previously imported sugar and the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has released an e-tender to dispose of 107,739 metric tons of white refined sugar.
The TCP says the bids for selling the sugar were invited via e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS). Those interested in bidding to be considered have been asked to submit their bids by 11:00 AM on September 28, 2026.

Bids will be accepted on the same day, September 28 at 11:30 AM at an online bidding session.
The TCP has also approved the export of 107,739 MT of white refined sugar from Pipri warehouse in Karachi in its current state.
Rationale Behind the Decision
The decision on export of the imported sugar stock completed taking into account the prevailing market dynamics, stocks available in the country and stocks in hand, government officials said.
