President Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Hold Five-Hour London Meeting, Reaffirm Stance on Sindh’s Integrity

President Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Meet in London, Resolve to Maintain PPP’s Stance on Sindh’s Division

LONDON: The Pakistani Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has convened an important five hour meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari at his London residence.

The long consultation was mainly on the current political scenario in the country and a detailed discussion on the current debate on administrative setup and proposed division of Sindh was held.

Repeat stand of the opposition to division of Sindh
The top-level meeting ended with an emphatic agreement that the party will continue to defend itself against any attempts to divide the province of Sindh and change its borders, without any compromise.

The session also saw a discussion on recent statements made by senior PPP leader Faryal Talpur about the party’s overall narrative, while the country’s political discourse and debate on new administrative divisions has been growing increasingly intense. Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, Bilawal’s sister, was also there for the meeting.

After this, Bilawal and Bakhtawar moved towards their house.

Briefly addressing the media outside, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said that he will be staying in London for a couple of days to attend personal family engagements.
