Petrol Price Reduced, Diesel Costly; New Rates Effective Till September 7
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced the change in price of petrol under the daily pricing system while increasing the price of high speed diesel (HSD) by the same amount.The price of petrol has been cut by Rs3.13 per litre while that of high-speed diesel is up by Rs3.74 per litre, according to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) notification.
With the latest changes, the revised prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) stand at Rs345.87 and Rs378.05 per litre, respectively. The notification further explains that these newly revised rates will still be valid for three days from September 5 to September 7, 2026.
