Despite Tyranny, PTI Founder and Workers Remain Resolute: Sohail Afridi

SHAHDADKOT: In the face of pressure, oppression and tyranny, the founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and party workers have not budged from their position and remain firm in their resolve, said the Chief Minister of KP Khan Abdul Ghafar Khokhar.

Speaking at a public gathering in Shahdadkot, Sohail Afridi said that the media made one impression that there was one political party that could function in the interior of Sindh, but his visit to the region proved otherwise as PTI was the real and dominant voice in the region.

The lawyers and the doctors raised concerns about the legal system and medical treatment of Imran Khan.
Emphasizing continuous legal issues, the Chief Minister asked whether the people could get fair justice from courts which have been behind in providing proper medical treatment to Imran Khan at Shifa Hospital in response to clear court orders. He stressed that the PTI leader looks towards the judiciary and people for salvation.

At the end of his speech, the CM Sohail Afridi directly asked the tensely charged audience if they would come in full force on September 27, which was welcomed with encouraging responses.

His speech also included critiques of dynastic politics. Afridi said that PTI gives an opportunity to people from middle class to become chief ministers while other mainstream parties are restricted to “family succession” as leadership is strictly inherited by the daughter and son of the chief minister.
