Security Forces Neutralize 36 Terrorists in Major Intelligence-Based Operations

Major Security Operations in Balochistan: 36 Terrorists Neutralized

RAWALPINDI : In Balochistan, security forces have successfully neutralised 36 terrorists in several counter-terrorism operations in the country in the wake of Indian proxy and Fitna al-Khawarih activities.

During the last 24 hours, four IBOs were carried out in Mastung, Quetta, Kalat and Sibi, during which 36 militants were neutralized, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Breakdown of Operations by District
The military’s media wing said that an operation in Mastung on September 4 neutralized six Indian-sponsored terrorists, their weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were safely destroyed.

In the same way, the four hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij were successfully found and 26 khawarij killed during the operation in the Shaban area of Quetta district.

In Kalat, another targeted IBO killed two Indian-sponsored militants at a militant compound, meanwhile in the Bhag area of Sibi security forces have responded well to a terrorist movement, killing two more militants.

Cumulative Toll and Ongoing Resolve
The ISPR also revealed in the last 48-72 hours that 48 terrorists who were working under the direction of Indian proxies and Fitna al-Khawarij have been taken to hell in Balochistan.

These are the new acts of terrorists neutralized in the security operations in Balochistan during 2026, which makes the total of terrorists neutralized during the year to date, reach to 1188.

In this regard, the military reiterated its determination to move ahead with the Azm-e-Istehkam vision to make Pakistan a terror-free environment and stated that counter-terrorism operations will be continued “with momentum” till the complete elimination of terrorism in Pakistan.
