Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Visits Nepalese Embassy, Expresses Grief Over Flood Casualties
ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Muhammad Ishaq Dar visited Embassy of Nepal in Islamabad to mourn and condole the death of citizens in the country due to devastating floods and landslides.
The Deputy Prime Minister made his heartfelt remarks in the book of condolences during his visit expressing his condolences to the grieving families and reiterating Pakistan’s total solidarity with the government and the people of Nepal.

In his remarks on the occasion, Ishaq Dar emphasized the fact that countries in the region are the most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change and human lives, livelihoods and critical infrastructure are suffering enormous damages as a result of the impacts of climate change.
He stressed the need for effective regional cooperation and resilience plans to tackle these growing environmental challenges.
