10 Injured, Including a Child, in Fresh Russian Attack on Kyiv
KYIV: The new Russian assault on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv has caused 10 casualties, including a child. The local authorities reported that the Russian strike had resulted in serious damage to the upper floors of the high-rise apartment block and a blaze in the area, but that 15 people had been evacuated safely.
The Mayor of Kyiv says six health workers are among the wounded. One was reported dead initially, but this was withdrawn later.
The new attack follows weeks of unrelenting Russian air strikes on Kyiv.
