Security Forces Neutralize 21 Terrorists of ‘Fitna al-Hindustan’ and ‘Fitna al-Khawarij’ in Balochistan; 6 Personnel Martyred
RAWALPINDI:During intelligence-based operations, security forces successfully neutralised 21 terrorists of “Fitna al-Hindustan” and “Fitna al-Khawarij” in Balochistan and six security personnel including two officers and one customs official sacrificed their lives, says Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The media wing of the military said they carried out targeted operations in Balochistan’s Chagai and Pishin districts, targeting the Nokcha area of Chagai, and the Ziarat Cross area of Pishin.
Operations against the terror groups in Chagai and Pishin
These were intense encounters where Indian backed terrorists from ‘Fitna al-Hindustan’ and ‘Fitna al-Khawarij’ were neutralised, the ISPR said.
Last day, terrorists on N-40 Quetta-Taftan Highway had made an illegal blockade to extort the commuters of the highway. After a quick response from the security forces, a significant number of weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the hands of 11 terrorists who were killed in action.
On the night of August 31st and September 1st, terrorists of “Fitna al-Khawarij” would try to break into a Customs House. A counter-operation was carried out by security forces with great efficiency which resulted in the death of 10 terrorists after a pitched battle and succeeded to hit the fleeing elements as well.
Nexus of Terrorism and Smuggling
The ISPR underscored the attacks on the Customs House, which was a reflection of the linkage between terrorism and organized crimes to stop customs bodies from carrying out their legal obligations and keeping the continuity of criminal gangs operating in the region.
In the midst of the much-observed exchange of fire, martyrdom was braved by six sons of the soil, two of them military officers, one government official in the Customs Department.

The ISPR also confirmed that clearance operations are on-going in the neighbouring area to remove any remaining terrorists, ensure safety of local residents and protect important national highways.
In confirmation, the ISPR said that in the light of the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam which has been endorsed by the Federal Apex Committee of the National Action Plan, the uncompromising anti-terrorism campaign would be continued with efforts and determination. Security forces and law enforcement agencies are “100% committed” to eliminating the threat of foreign-backed terrorism in the country, they said.
