Transitioning Pakistan’s Economy from Foreign Aid to Trade and Investment, Says Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb
ISLAMABAD:Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb has announced that Pakistan is moving away from dependence on foreign aid and moving towards trade and investment.
During the event in Islamabad, Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb highlighted the fact that public-private partnership is essential for the economic growth and development efforts as the processes of economic development goes hand in hand with the promotion of investment and commercial activities.
Sustainable Growth and Priorities for Export Enhancement
He said the government is taking steps to make sure there is sustainable growth too as well as long-term economic stability.
He emphasized the importance of promoting exports, investment and productivity among the government’s key targets. He also stressed that export financing can be very instrumental in the promotion of national export and fostering an environment that is conducive for business and investment in Pakistan is one of the key government targets.

Muhammad Aurangzeb was the last speaker who said that the private sector development will create new jobs, and Pakistan’s economy is successfully moving from the aid-dependency to trade and investment.
