Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Departs for Kyrgyzstan on Three-Day Official Visit
BISHKEK: The Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has left for the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek on an official three-day visit on invitation of the Kyrgyz President.
The Prime Minister is making the high-level visit with the federal Ministers Jam Kamal Khan, Abdul Aleem Khan, and Attaullah Tarar.
Speaking at the SCO Summit and attending the World Nomad Games.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will share Pakistan’s stance on several critical issues on the regional and international agenda during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of Government meeting. He is also set to be a part of the summit session for SCO Plus.
While visiting, the Prime Minister will be the guest of honor at the World Nomad Games opening ceremony.
Bilateral Meetings and Areas of Cooperation
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet with the leaders of other participating countries for bilateral meetings, on the sidelines of the SCO summit. The talks will cover mutual relations, trade and investment, connectivity between the two regions and various other issues of mutual interest.
The Prime Minister will also hold a separate billet meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan to discuss all aspects of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan in detail.
During the visit, cooperation in trade and investment, energy, regional connectivity, education and tourism will be among the key areas of discussion, as will be exchanges on a people-to-people basis.
