Iran Does Not Want War, But Will Stand Firm Against Any Aggression With Full Force: President Pezeshkian

TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has announced that Iran doesn’t want war, but if it happens it will fight with all might.

“No power on earth could force the Iranian nation to give up” and “Iran has never started any war and has no intention of doing so,” the president said in a formal statement.

Rejection of threats, commitment to regional peace.
President Pezeshkian said Tehran’s head would never bow to threats and foreign pressure and the Iranian people are completely united in safeguarding their national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He said that building peace and stability in the Middle East is one of Iran’s top concerns and pointed out that the roots of peace and sustainable stability in the world should be in the region itself.

The Iranian president called on the international community to assume an effective and constructive role in defusing the tension in the region and ensuring that it would not lead to any further catastrophic conflicts.
