WASHINGTON: The US President, Donald Trump, has officially denied any talks are under way between Washington and Tehran, despite reports that he was discussing the possibility of talks with Iran.
President Donald Trump has said there are no current talks with Iran, stressing that the U.S. is not engaged in any talks with Tehran and is solely focused on ramping up economic pressure on the Iranian regime.

The US President assured that the US will not impose sanctions on Chinese banks on the moment, but threatened punitive measures against nations that are doing business with Iran.
As for international relations, Trump said “when we take action against Russia, it will be based on the changing circumstances, but he has no doubt that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not going to attack any NATO member state. He also said that CIA Director John Ratcliffe has recently met with his Russian counterpart in Russia, but explained that Ratcliffe wasn’t sent on any special mission.
