Rawalpindi to Lahore Passenger Train Derails Near Jhelum
JHELUM:The Rawalpindi-Lahore passenger train, Rawal Express, derailed near railway station Kala Gujran near Jhelum, but no one was killed or injured in the incident.
Railway sources said that the Rawal Express has been sent from Rawalpindi to Lahore at 12:30 AM. The train arrived at Kala Gujran station near Jhelum where the train was involved in a collision due to failure of the brakes.

The incident resulted in damage to the engine and three bogies of the train but thankfully no one lost their lives or was injured, the railway authorities said.
Technical and maintenance personnel promptly went on the scene, added railway sources. An attempt is being made to remove the derailed carriages and unblock the railway track for normal operations.
