Security Forces Conduct Operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, Killing 11 Terrorists
PESHAWAR/QUETTA:Security forces killed 11 terrorists in fresh counter-terrorism operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan province, targeting the groups of Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan.
The security forces conducted intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the South Waziristan and Bannu districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Khuzdar district of Balochistan, according to security sources.
The Operations in Bannu and South Waziristan were abandoned.
In Bannu, security forces conducted anti-Fitna-al-Khawarij operation, eliminating two terrorists and seizing weapons and ammunition. In the success raid, security forces also destroyed a terrorist hideout which contained explosive materials.
Meanwhile, on the tip off by the people in the Ladha area of South Waziristan, the security forces intercepted and cordoned off a group of militants, which resulted in the timely tracking of their movement and the effective neutralisation of five khawarij.
Airstrike and Quadcopter Operation in Khuzdar, Balochistan.
An operation against ‘Fitna-al-Hindustan’ in ‘Sasoli’ area of Khuzdar district of Balochistan has led to the killing of 4 terrorists. Security officials confirmed that the militants were exactly targeted and neutralized, with the help of quadcopter surveillance and aerial support.
Throughout all these coordinated operations, caution and care were taken so that civilian life and property would not suffer any damage whatsoever, there would be no collateral damage, no civilian lives lost, no property damaged, no civilians harmed, nothing at all.
