I Believe Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is Severely Injured, Not Dead: Trump
WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has stated that he believes Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is severely injured but has not been killed, according to recent interview remarks.
In an interview with conservative radio talker Glenn Beck, Trump pointed out that he’s not sure the new Iranian Supreme Leader has died yet, but if he did, “Iranian officials are putting on a great act” by always saying that they are asking for the Supreme Leader’s advice on state affairs. President Trump insisted he is sure the Iranian leader suffered “very severe injuries” on the left side of his body.
It’s important to note that Mojtaba Khamenei was previously reported to be a target in the opening day of the US attacks on Iran on February 28 and hasn’t appeared in public since the attack.
Pressure Campaign – Success; Status of the Strait of Hormuz. In a reaffirmation of his position, U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated that Washington’s military and economic pressure campaign against Tehran is paying off. During the interview, Trump said that these developments would lead to a “massive breakthrough” in the near future, Israeli media has reported.
The US President also highlighted that the Strait of Hormuz is “open and clear. The strait is now open,” he said, “we are sending many ships through the strait now and have already removed all the naval mines.
