Saudi Cabinet Emphasizes Need to Keep Waterways Open and Safe
RIYADH: The Saudi cabinet met under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, in which great emphasis was laid on maintaining the security and freedom of passage of essential international waterways.
At the cabinet meeting, the entire cabinet expressed its support for the continuous diplomatic process to de-escalate regional tensions. The forum discussed the current regional and international situation and affirmed the significance of freedom of navigation and security of the international shipping lanes.
The appreciation of Saudi-French Leadership Engagement
In addition, the Saudi cabinet welcomed the recent high-level meeting between the Saudi Crown Prince and the French President to commit to continuing to boost and develop historic bilateral ties and cooperation between Riyadh and Paris, in a meeting in which the two leaders reached an agreement to this effect.
