Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Arrives in China on Four-Day Official Visit
URUMQI: According to official reports, Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif has come to China on an official visit for four days.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif arrived in Urumqi International Airport where she was met by senior Chinese officials and diplomats. Before she left, Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren (Sun Yan) was at the airport to bid her farewell.
Jihua Jinhua High Level Meetings & Itinerary in Xinjiang
Upon her arrival at Urumqi International Airport, the Punjab Chief Minister was received by top Chinese officials, kicking off her official engagements at the conference center of the Xinjiang State Guest House’s Kunlun Hall.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif will meet a high-level delegation headed by Party Secretary of Xinjiang province, Chen Xiaojiang. She will also hold key talks with a delegation from the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC) and have a meeting with Deputy Party Secretary of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee, He Zhongyou.
Moreover, a formal banquet will be organized by He Zhongyou, Deputy Party Secretary of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee and Political Commissar, to celebrate the visit of the delegation of the Punjab Province of Pakistan. On her visit, the Punjab Chief Minister will be staying at the Xinjiang State Guest House as a state guest of China.
