Schedule Released for Election of AJK Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker
MUZAFFARABAD: The official election schedule of the Speaker & Deputy Speaker of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly has been published.
The election schedule says that party nomination papers for the posts of President and Governor are to be submitted on August 25. Scrutineering of nomination papers and completion of the electoral process will be held on the same day.
Amidst the backdrop of a numerical majority, PML-N names candidates.
Meanwhile, exploiting its numerical strength in the assembly, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has already announced its official candidates for Speaker and Deputy Speaker in the assembly.
