Pakistan Stock Market Enters Positive Zone
KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) rebounded with renewed positive trends making the main index rise above the 178,000-point mark.
The trading floor was very active in buying at the opening of the new business week. Surging by more than 800 points during early trading hours, the KSE-100 index advanced to reach the 178,018 points mark. Market analysts cited “bargain shopping” and “investor sentiment” as some of the reasons behind the rebound, following weekly corrections in the market.It is noteworthy that at the end of the last business session, the stock exchange’s KSE-100 index had settled at 177,166 points, down from the previous session.
